Michelle earned her Master of Science in Palliative Care from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, with an emphasis in Hospice and Palliative Care Leadership. Her advanced education has strengthened her commitment to leading with compassion, clinical excellence, integrity, and a deep understanding of end-of-life care.

Outside of her professional role, Michelle is married to a firefighter with the Houston Fire Department and is the proud mother of two children, one in junior high and one attending college. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, volunteering in the community, crafting, and reading.
