We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide high quality, patient centered therapy services in the comfort of patients’ homes.

Working under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA plays an important role in helping patients improve mobility, regain independence, reduce pain, and achieve their highest level of function. This position offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing individualized care that truly makes a difference.

Responsibilities May Include:

  • Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the patient’s plan of care under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, safety techniques, and the use of assistive devices.
  • Observe, document, and report patient progress and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on strategies to support continued progress and reduce the risk of injury or hospitalization.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the State of Texas.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while providing compassionate, patient focused care in the home setting.
